When I was around 12 or 13, I made a free website where I would upload quick polls to the website's homepage. I would then share the link to all my friends and family, and subsequently write a blog post about the results. While the site never quite reached critical mass, I remember that VistaPrint had a deal at the time whereby you could receive 500 business cards should you spend a certain amount of money.

I had pens, business cards, and more made for my site. It was simply cool to hold the cards, knowing that I designed them and were the reason for their purpose. The site is long abandoned, but I occassionally have flashbacks to what the internet was like at that time. I consider myself as having "grown up on the internet," creating my own iFunny rage comics and scrolling through more than enough brainrot.

I don't think I've done much to contribute to the Internet, and as of now I don't have any plans to. However, it has been a fun ride just to watch the webscape change. The personal web is the latest endeavour for myself, and it reminded me of that website I created quite some time ago.

A fantastic comic I read at the time.
